The Ashram was founded in 1982 on the outskirts of the town of Tadpatri in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.
It serves as a quiet haven to people touched by the grace of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi, the great sage who lived during the first half of the 20th century. The Ashram manages several on going charitable projects. Among them the most significant projects are, providing shelter food clothing and education for orphans along with proper medica-tion in the Orphanage. Qualified teachers are employed for the purpose of quality education. Providing shelter food clothing and medication for helpless old age men and women.

More and more Orphans deactive and disabled old age peoples will be looked after as and when facili-ties improve.There are 65 Orphans at present in the Orphanage and 20 in Old Age Home. Providing food for Sadhus on any day who Comes with prior information.
Other Activities : We have been feeding about 5000 poor people and distributing colothes and bedsheets fro past 30 years on the day of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi’s jayanthi .
